Michael Dwayne Murray, Sr.

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Michael D. Murray, Sr. who entered into rest July 8, 2026.

Mr. Murray was born in Augusta, GA and resided in Beech Island, SC.

Survivors include his wife, Terry Murray; daughters, Mi'Cadra (Anthony) Collier and Mya Murray; son, Michael D. Murray, Jr.; bonus son, Bryson Gantt; his mother, Arneather Murray;  sisters, Anne Johnson, Sandra (Vernard) Dicker and Brenda (Randolph) Mealer; brothers, Donald (Diane) Murray and Maurice Murray; a granddaughter, Zanyla Gantt; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family will received guests at 118 Vernon St., Beech Island, SC and at 325 Pipeline Rd, Aiken, SC between the hours of 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM daily at each residence.
