It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Milfred T. Foreman.

Milfred Tyron Foreman was born June 13, 1953, in Aiken South Carolina to the late Frank and Sallie Foreman. Mr. Foreman passed away in his home Saturday, December 04, 2021 due to complications from ALS.

In 1972 Milfred graduated from Aiken High School. He then enrolled at South Carolina State University and was a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. After a year of school, Milfred decided to enlist in the Marine Corps in 1973. Milfred stayed in the Marine Corps for four years, achieving the rank of Sargent. After the Marine Corps Milfred came back to Aiken. He began working at the Savannah River Site. Soon thereafter he enrolled at the University Of South Carolina on the GI Bill. Milfred graduated from USC with a bachelor's degree in history. He married Stephanie Cox in 1985.

Milfred has two sons Ty and Chris. Milfred worked in various capacities at SRS for 33 years, retiring in 2007. After his retirement Milfred stayed busy Golfing, Working Out, Fishing, Shooting Sports, and traveling throughout the southeast and abroad with his wife Stephanie.

Milfred is survived by his wife Stephanie and their two son's Ty and Chris; a sister, Constance Daniels; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Daniels and Walter Cox; sister-in-law, Julie Cox; and mother-in-law, Kathleen Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Masks will be required. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service.
