With deep and profound sympathy we announce the transition of Miss Miranda P. Shaw who entered into rest September 21, 2024.

Miss Shaw was a 1999 graduate of Silver Bluff High School. She attended Claflin University and received an Associate degree from Virginia College. She was a Customer Service Representative for T-Mobile and a member of New Beginning Ministries.

Survivors include her parents, Jerome Heyward Shaw, Sr. and Veronica "Helen" Bussey Shaw; a brother, Jerome Heyward Shaw, II; uncles Eddie Lee (Beverly) Shaw; Freddie (Sheila) Shaw, III and Carl Shaw; aunts, Cassandra (Robert) McKie, Deborah Shaw, Linda Diane Curry, Barbara Udensi, Sandra Denise Allison and Angela Washington; a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Sunday, October 6, 2024 at New Beginning Ministries with Bishop Hezekiah Pressley, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2 pm until 5:30 pm Monday at the funeral home.
