It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Naomi Turner Holston who entered into rest June 7, 2024.

Ms. Holston, a native of Aiken County, was employed by the Aiken County School System at Byrd Elementary School in food service for many years. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Maggie Lyons Turner, her husband, Albert Holston, a son, Gregory Holston and a daughter, Marilyn Holston;

Survivors include, a daughter, Deborah (Carl) Simmons; four sons, Albert Kenneth Holston, Reginald Holston, John Labrent (Holly) Holston and Allen Holston; six sisters, Lillie Lee, Barbara Conklin, Mary Jean Gethers, Shirley McMillan, Marilyn Turner and Carolyn Turner; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, June 13, 2024 at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Curtis Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2 pm until 5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
