With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mrs. Ocea Lee Barnes who entered into rest November 22, 2024.

Mrs. Barnes, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Shaws Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Marcus) Bishop of Aiken, SC; a son, William Barnes of Aiken, SC; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. Entombment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
