It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Porter E. Walker, Sr. who entered into rest May 7, 2022 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta.

Mr. Walker, a native of Barnwell County, was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Porter E. (Tina) Walker, Jr. of Gloverville, SC and Tyson M. (Dorothy) Walker of Graniteville, SC; two sisters, Louisiana (Greg) Sanders of Aiken, SC and Barbara Jean Bryant of Graniteville, SC; two brothers, Terry A. Walker of Graniteville, SC and Joe C. (La'Keisha) Walker of Aiken, SC; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Bethlehem Baptist Church (Graniteville.) The remains will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
