Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Rena Mae Turner who entered into rest October 24, 2022 at Piedmont Augusta Hospital.


Ms. Turner was a native of Aiken County and a member of Carpentersville Baptist Church where she served as an Usher. She retired from Anna Maria Nursing Home.


Survivors include her children, Sharon (Ricky) Anderson, Cynthia (Joseph) Thomas, Lisa (Timothy) Strozier, Laura Ann Washington, Kimberly Turner and James O'Bryant Turner; a sister, Sandra Turner; sister-in-law, Jennie Turner; eight grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.


Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 29, 2022 in Old Storm Branch Baptist Church Cemetery of which the Rev. Martris Mims is the pastor and the Rev. Herman Bing eulogist. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
