It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of 1SGT. (Ret.) Stanley B. Davis who entered into rest December 26, 2021.

1SGT. (Ret.) Davis was a 1970 graduate of Jackson High School and earned a Bachelor Degree from Lane College, Jackson, TN.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly S. Barnes Davis; four daughters, Cheryl Davis, Nakia Walker (Roosevelt, III), Kiara Walker and Shqueria Barnes; three brothers, Lesley Jones, Anthony Jones (Gloria) and Norman Jones (Beverly); five sisters, Diane Davis, Diane Jones, Felicia Jones, Patrice Jones and Miracle Jones; 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, December 30, 2021 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
