It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Richard A. Hillary, Sr. who entered into rest March 17, 2024.

Mr. Hillary was a native of Edgefield County.

Survivors include his wife, Yolanda Hillary; his mother, Novella (Leroy) Griffin; three sons, Richard A. Hillary II, Desmond (Patricia) Hillary and Jalen Spann; three sisters, Cheryl Scott, Nicole (Derrick) Caldwell and Angela Griffin; two grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 24, 2024 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
