Richard A Knight, Sr.

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Richard Knight, Sr. who entered into rest June 9, 2026.

Mr. Knight was born in Augusta, GA and resided in North Augusta, SC. He was a member of Old Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Tiesha knight; one son, Richard (Alexia) Knight, Jr.; five sisters, Juanita Dunbar, Loretta Heard, Delorise Bennett, Clara Knight and Katherine (Randy) Bussey; three brothers, Roosevelt Knight, Amos Knight and Larry Knight, Jr.; three grandchildren, Kash A-D Knight, Aaliyah Jhene Knight and Zoe Diane Knight; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2026 at Old Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
