G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Ricky Adams who entered into rest December 2, 2025.

Mr. Adams, a native of Edgefield County, was the son of the late Ernest, Sr. and Sarah Pickens Adams. He was a 1979 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School.

Survivors include four sisters, Janette Nicholson, Dorothy Adams, Loretta Adams and Earline Adams; a brother, Ernest (Kim) Adams, Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with Bro. John Cannon officiating. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page.
