It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Robert Friday, Jr., who entered into rest December 5, 2023.

Mr. Friday, a native of Bamberg County, was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church where he served on the Deacons Ministry. He was a retired Brickmason.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Bell Dean Friday; a daughter, Diane Barnes; two sons, Robert Michael Friday and Adorn (Pamela) Wiggins; a sister Ruthella Rearden; a brother, Lonnie Friday; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023 at the funeral home.
