It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Robert L. Mims who entered into rest July 7, 2025.

Mr. Mims attended Schofield High School from 1953-1956 and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1957. He was a retired Truck Driver for Kimberly -Clark Corporation. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Mims Grove Baptist Church where he served on the Deacons Ministry and Sunday School Superintendent.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Annie L. Robinson Mims; a daughter, Rhonda R. Mims; a sister, Leola Mims; granddaughter, Ansley Gabrielle Simpson; one aunt, Essie W. Turner; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 11, 2025 at Mims Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
