With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. Rod Odom who entered into rest August 20, 2025.

Mr. Odom, a native of Allendale County, was a member of Montmorenci Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Ollie Mae Odom; six sons, Jackie Etson, Ronald Odom, Eddie Odom, Michael Odom, Keith Odom and John Odom; two daughters, Faye (Wilmer) Freeman and Carla Odom; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Montmorenci Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Wilbert Newman, Jr. is the pastor and the Rev. Timothy O. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
