With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Roosevelt Knight who entered into rest July 25, 2026.

Mr. Knight was a native of Edgefield County and resided in Graniteville.

Survivors include five sisters, Juanita Dunbar, Loretta Heard, Clara Knight all of North Augusta, SC, Delores Bennett of Hephzibah, GA and Katherine (Randy) Bussey; two brothers, Amos Knight of North Augusta, SC and Fred Knight of Graniteville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Old Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev., Dr. Leonard O. Griffin is the pastor and Pastor Emeritus Limuer Myers eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
