It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Roosevelt Walker who entered into rest April 18, 2023.

Mr. Walker was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Mealing Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, John H. (Sheila) Walker; a sister, Frances Glover; two daughters-in-law, Christine Walker and Polly Walker; sister-in-law, Mary Lee; brother-in-law, Grady Lee; seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Mealing Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Harris officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1-4 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
