With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Roosevelt Whitlock, Jr. who entered into rest August 23, 2026. 

Mr. Whitlock, a native of Aiken County, was a member of North Augusta Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Kayla (Antonio) Whitlock Harris, Tiffany Grimes and Sharonda Kelly; two sons, Marvin (Tiffany) Whitlock and Desmond Whitlock; three sisters, Wanda Whitlock, Jeannie Whitlock and Elaine (Hubert) Whitlock Thurmond; three brothers, Undra (Angela) Whitlock, Reggie (Pamela) Whitlock and Anthony Whitlock; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 28, 2026 at North Augusta Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
