It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Rosa Lee Bennett who entered into rest April 22, 2023.

Ms. Bennett was a native of Phenix City, Alabama where she attended the Russell County Public School System.

Survivors include three children, Sandra Clanton, Tracy Moore and Nancy (Pastor Nathaniel) Nesbitt; grandchildren, Nastassja, Xavier and Breylon (Shevonna) Mercier, Sonsiea Davis, Sierah and Sonita Moore; eight great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Augusta Community Christian Church with Pastor Nathaniel Nesbitt officiating.

Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
