Rosa Lucille Bethea

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Rosa L. Bethea who entered into rest July 23, 2026.

Mrs. Bethea was a native of Edgefield County and resided in Salisbury, NC.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Bethea; three daughters, Tawana Avery, Donna Bethea and Tori Bethea-Rodriguez; a son, Leslie (Miriam) Bethea; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-granchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 31, 2026 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
