Rosa Lisa Griffin, 63, entered eternal rest on May 8, 2026. Born on October 22, 1962, in Brooklyn, Rosa carried her strength, warmth, and unwavering love for family throughout every chapter of her life. In 1988, she made North Augusta her home, where she built a life filled with devotion to those she loved most.

Rosa dedicated nearly a decade of service working at the VA Hospital in Augusta, where she was known for her caring spirit, hard work, and compassion toward others. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and deep love for her family and friends.

She is lovingly survived by her three children, Mustafia Cook, Royce Cook and Omar Cook; her beloved niece, Noni Cohen; and her cherished best friends, Lisa and Sandra, whose friendship brought her joy and companionship throughout the years.

Rosa was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Griffin, and her father, Arthur Griffin.

Those who knew Rosa will remember her for her loving heart, strong spirit, and the way she made people feel cared for and welcomed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
