With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Ms. Rosalyn P.  Council Dobson who entered into rest January 29, 2025.

Ms. Dobson was a native of Aiken County.

Survivors include two daughters, Shachia Alexander (Wilt) and Demetrice Kirkland (Keisher); two sons, Swiss T. Council and Nathan T. Council; two sisters, Barbara L. Council and Marlene D. Oliphant (Isaac); one brother, Donnie Council; 13 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, February 8, 2025 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Thurmond officiating. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
