With deepest and profound sympathy we announce the transition of Mr. Ruben McBurnett who entered into rest October 10, 2024.

Mr. McBurnett was a native of Edgefield County. He was the oldest of 21 children.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Martin McBurnett; three daughters, Antonia Brooks, Adonica McBurnett and Sheryl (Nelson) Crosby; a son, David Thomas; his mother, Adgerina Long; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Bethlehem Baptist Church (Graniteville) with the Rev. James Abraham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
