It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Rubie Mae Jones McCurry who entered into rest September 13, 2022 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Mrs. Jones McCurry, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1967 graduate of W. E. Parker High School and a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include, three daughters, Wanda Wright of Simpsonville, SC, Teresa McCurry of Greenwood, SC, and Shada McCurry of York, SC; one son, Keith McCurry of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Nancy Jones of Edgefield, SC and Loretta (Jefferson) Taylor of North Augusta, SC; one brother, Willie (Margie) Jones, Jr.; three grandchildren, Antwan McCurry, Jalen McCurry, and Bralen McCurry; one great-grandchild, Kahzier McCurry; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Darren Jones officiating. There will be NO PUBLIC VIEWING.
