It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Ruby Jean Myers, wife of Rev. Robert L. Myers, who entered into rest June 11, 2023.

Mrs. Myers was a 1974 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She retired from the Savannah River Site. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Robert L. Myers; a brother, Min. Sam W. (Brenda) Broadwater, Jr.; four sisters, Cindy (Min. David) Walker, Beverly (Earl) Williams, Brenda Broadwater and Diane (Grady) Knight; mother-in-law, Charlotte Myers Cain; god-daughter, Adran Stokes; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Old Macedonia Baptist Church where the Rev., Dr. Leonard O. Griffin is the pastor and the Rev. Eddie Freeman, eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
