It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Sadie Bell Young who entered into rest June 19, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Young was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Carey Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Lena M. Young and Shirley A. Young; two sons, James Young and Stanley (Betty) Young; a devoted niece, Annie W. (Lawrence) Cormier; five grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Carey Hill Baptist Church, 501 Garrett Road, Clarks Hill of which Rev. Brandon L. Dotson pastor and Rev. Louis T. Coley eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mask and social distancing will be required. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
