Samuel David Ryan

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Samuel D. Ryan who entered into rest September 21, 2026.

Mr. Ryan, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1970 graduate of W. E. Parker High School. He was a member of Shaws Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Ryan; one daughter, Natasha Ryan; two sons, Bernard (Tamika) Ryan and Mandrell (La'Toysha) Ryan; four sisters, Emily Knight, Annie Nabriat, Jeanette Roundtree and Pamela (Norris) Rouse; three brothers, Rev. Benjamin (Lorraine) Ryan, Rev. Martin (Ruth) Ryan and Jim (Beatrice) Ryan; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2026 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
