It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Sandra Lee Thomas who entered into rest December 19, 2024.

Ms. Thomas, a native of Washington, DC was a graduate of Dunbar High School.. She received a Master's degree from Maryland University. She was a Nurse Practitioner and a member of First Baptist Church, Washington, DC and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Augusta,.

Survivors include a daughter, Teia Hopewell; two sons, Anthony V. (Donna) Hopewell and LeAnton S. (Yolanda) Hopewell; a brother, Francis (Victoria) Bell; twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 11 am Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Washington, DC with Rev. Frank D. Tucker
