It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Sara Ann Lyons who entered into rest November 20, 2022.

Mrs. Lyons, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church where she served on the Hospitality Committee, Sisterhood Ministry, and sang on the Voices of Joy Choir.

Survivors include her children, Ellis Lyons, Sylvia Rich, Teresa Lyons and Sherry Radford; two sisters, Elder Reatha Lewis and Elder Gloria (Elder John L.) Dunbar; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence D. Hill officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 1-5 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
