SFC (Ret.) Rev. Joseph Williams, Jr.

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of SFC (Ret.) Rev. Joseph Williams, Jr. who entered into rest July 6, 2026.

Rev. Williams, a native of Muscogee County, GA, was a Retired Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Williams; two daughters, Monica (Richard) Curtis and Ta'Wanna (Cleveland) Sweat; a son, Reginald (Jeanette) Williams; a sister, Loretta Ford; a brother, Rommel (Bernette) Williams; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Chavas Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
