It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Shalander N. Brunson who entered into rest May 2, 2024.

Ms. Brunson, a native of Richmond County, was a graduate of Silver Bluff High School.

Survivors include her father, Leroy (Claudie) Brunson of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Fleshia Kollock of Grayson, GA and Shonda Brunson of Aiken, SC; stepsisters, Twanda Dunbar and Courtney P. Mosley; two brothers, Raynard Brunson and Christopher Brunson; stepbrothers, Shelbert Roper, Leon Hopkins and Corey Mosley; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2024 at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev., Dr. Curtis Blocker officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
