It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Shelia Baskett Wilson, 64, entered into rest July 4, 2022.

Mrs. Wilson was a native of Aiken County and attended North Augusta High School. She earned a Bachelor degree in Nursing from USC Aiken. She retired from AU Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond L. Wilson; a daughter, Artesia Mobley; two stepdaughters, Natasha (Valla) Olliver and Natalie Wilson; two sons, Deltric (Tammy) Mobley and Torre (Shana) Mobley; two stepsons, Ramon Wilson and Russell (TyYeeshia) Wilson; eight sisters, Laura Ann Mitchell, Rev. Lucile Dyson, Mattie (Larry) Cooks, Glennice (Vernon) Thurmond, Janice Baskett, Loretta (Min. Calvin) Mays, Constance (William) Johnson and Carol Lynn (Rodney) Jeter; three brothers, James "JC" (Barbara) Baskett, James "Sonny" Simmons and Harold Melvin (Loretta) Baskett; one aunt, Robertha Shaw; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert L. Ramsey officiating. Interment will be in Mealing Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mask and social distancing will be required.
