It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Sunie Jacobs who entered into rest December 8, 2023.

Ms. Jacobs, a native of Edgefield County, was a former member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Burlington in New York.

Survivors include two nephews, Cecil (Rebecca) Simpkins and David (Terry) Simpkins; a niece, Hattie Williams; one grandchild, three great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, December 14, 2023 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Johnny Hampton officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2pm to 5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
