It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Tanya Y. Rogers who entered into rest February 6, 2023.

Ms. Rogers was a native of Washington, D.C. She was employed as a Reservation Specialist at Delta Airlines.

Survivors include a daughter, Lauren Simon of New York, NY; a son, David (Allyson) Simon of Louisville, KY; her parents, Rev. William and Corrie Rogers of Aiken, SC; a sister, Anissa (Michael) Davis of Stratford, CT; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Mt. Anna Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. Viewing will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
