It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Theodore Mims, Sr. who entered into rest May 23, 2024.

Mr. Mims was a 1975 graduate of North Augusta High School. He retired from BI-LO as a Butcher. He was a member of South Augusta Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Theodore Mims, Jr., and Michael Thomas Mims; a brother, Johnny Reese Mims; two sisters, Marie (Bernard) Johnson and Roberta (Charles) Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, May 30, 2024 at South Augusta Church of Christ with Pastor Kenneth Chavous officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2 pm until 5:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
