With deepest and profound sympathy we announce the transition of Mr. Thomas A. Dunn who entered into rest September 26, 2024.

Mr. Dunn was a 1960 graduate of Jefferson High School and a retiree of the City of New York. He was a member of Mt. Moriah AME Church of New York and a former member of Hazel Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Beech Island, SC.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia A. Baskett Dunn; son, Thomas A. (Gary) Dunn-Lightbourn; daughter, Tonya (Warren) Dunn-Prince; a brother, Rev., Dr. Nathaniel (Mary) Dunn; sisters, Ruth Dunn Little, Daisy Dunn Bethea and Betty Dunn Harrison; four grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Runs Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Dunn Family Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
