With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Tommie Mealing who entered into rest June 18, 2026.

Mr. Mealing was a native of Edgefield County.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth F. Thurmond; a brother, Joseph (Annie) Quarles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2026 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Sanders officiating.
