With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mrs. Tommie Ruth Miles who entered into rest September 12, 2026.
Mrs. Miles, a native of Edgefield County, was a graduate of W. E. Parker High School. She was a devoted member of Republican Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Victoria Miles; one brother, Ernest (Alberta) Butler; sister-in-law, Corine (Charlie) Upson; and brothers-in-law, John Miles, Bernell (Geraldine) Miles, and Carl (Genie) Miles; grandchildren, Morris Miles, Tiffany Miles, Chester Miles, Zaccheus Miles, Zavier (Ashley) Miles, Jamard Pryor, Jacoby Miles, Jahonna Miles, Trison Milhouse Bianca Miles, Regina Miles, Tyrone Rouse, and a devoted nephew, Travis (Belinda) Jones, along with 14 great-grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2026 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Simmon Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
