With deepest and profound sympathy we announce the transition of Mr. Tommie L. Parker, Sr. who entered into rest November 1, 2024.

Mr. Parker, a native of Barnwell County, attended Jefferson High School. He was a member of St. Mary Baptist Church, Martin, SC.

Survivors include a son, Tommie Lee Parker, Jr.; four daughters, Tonya Simmons, Shalonda (Reggie) Drayton, Tashema Parker and Tenisha (Steven) Simpkins; a brother, Ralph (Nancy) Parker; two sisters, Evelyn Green and Rosa Hunter; 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 8, 2024 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church , Silver Bluff Road where the Rev. Cornelius Jenkins is the pastor and the Rev. Stacy Green eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
