It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Tyrone T. Cooks who entered into rest December 1, 2021 at University Hospital.

Mr. Cooks was a 1982 graduate of North Augusta High School and a member of Second Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Windy Silvers; two daughters, Nicole A. Cooks and Rhonda J. Cooks; his parents, Thomas L. and Florence Nealous Cooks; five brothers, Jerome Cooks, Scottie (Kim) Cooks, Patrick Cooks, Donny (Jenifer) Cooks and Ronny Cooks; six sisters, Sherry (Rufus) Smith, Gayle (Frankie) Coleman, Carla Cruz, Lethea (Wayne) Cochran, De'anne Cooks and Inger (Elias) Camacho; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Second Providence Memorial Gardens with Dr. Albert M. James officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
