It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Vera Cullum Curry wife of the late James Jimmy Curry who entered into rest January 2, 2024.

Ms. Curry was a native of Aiken County and a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Vera Sholanda Curry (Richard Artis); chosen daughter and son, Eyvonne Pray and Christopher Pray (Joanne Pough); a sister, Fannie Mae Schoultz; uncle, Daniel (Ruthola) Holmes; seven sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Mims Grove Baptist Church of which the Rev. Reginald Grimes pastor and the Rev. Limuer Myers eulogist. Interment will follow in Mims Grove Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
