It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Vickie S. Mattison who entered into rest November 29, 2023.

Mrs. Mattison, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1997 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She was the owner of Mattison's Cleaning Service, LLC and attended Lord of Glory Full Gospel Baptist Church in Greer, SC.

Survivors include her husband, Marquis D. Mattison; her children, Danielle K. Mattison, Gabrielle S. Mattison and Marquis D. Mattison, Jr.; her father, Mack (Petronia) Pressley, Jr.; five brothers, Emanuel Pressley, Mack (Brenda) Pressley, III, Earnest (Trish) Pressley, Eugene (Frances) Pressley and Larry (Charlene) Pressley; three sisters, Betty Ann Pressley (Lewis) Bessix, Brittany K. Pressley and Keisha C. Pressley; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
