It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Vivian D. Brown who entered into rest December 29, 2023.

Mrs. Brown, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Edgefield Congregation.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Brown Scurry; a son, Kenneth Brown; a daughter, Taricia Brown; brothers, Darnell James, Walter James (Agnus), and Michael James; sisters, Brenda Brown, Bell Herrin, Mary Ann Williams, and Marie James; very special cousin/sister, Gloria Hill; very special cousin/brother, Billy James; sisters-in-law, Daisy Scurry, Liz Zimmerman, and Lillie Mae Tolin; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
