It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Walter Lee Quiller, Sr. who entered into rest January 25, 2022.

Mr. Quiller was a native of Edgefield County and a member of Young Macedonia Baptist Church. He worked as a sales manager for the Georgia Corporation for the Blind.

Survivors include a son, Walter Lee (Ruth) Quiller, Jr.; three daughters, Delinda Quiller, Janice Quiller and Lenora Quiller; two sisters, Mattie Mae Schoultz and Hester Stone; four brothers, Tommy Bright, Ernest Quiller, Willine (Willie) Quiller and Joe Quiller; one aunt, Effie Cooks Taylor; grandchildren, Jessica Quiller, Zamara Brown, Christopher (Christian) Forde, James Forde, Jr., Walter Quiller, III and Timothy Quiller; great grandchildren, Nora Quiller, Jeshaiah Tucker and Christopher Forde, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Friday, February 4, 2022 in Young Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Sallie Cooks officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
