It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Walter Rouse, Sr. who entered into rest March 27, 2022 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Mr. Rouse was a native of Edgefield County.

Survivors include five daughters, Helen (Jack) Jones, Bernice (Albert) Moore, Catherine Herrin (Randy Williams), Patricia Ann Rouse (Benjamin Thomas), and Gloria Renee Rouse (Terrance Harris); five sons, Walter (Debra) Rouse, Jr., Odell Williams, Costello (Lisa) Rouse, Rodney (Tina) Rouse, and Ronnie (Cynthia Ann) Rouse, Sr.; two sisters, Mary Rouse and Annie Bell Carter; three brothers, Pete (Sophia) Rouse, Dea. Willie (Mary) Rouse, and Joe Rouse; 35 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Jeter Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
