It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce transition of Mrs. Wendy Lee Butler who entered into rest September 17, 2022.

Ms. Butler was a 1977 graduate of Academy of Richmond County and a 1999 graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken with a degree in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse with Augusta University.

Survivors include a son, Lee Michael Butler; her companion, Donnie Bess; three sisters, Karen Butler, Angela (Anthony) DuBois and Martha Jackson; three nephews, one niece , one great nephew and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, September 24, 2022 in Walker Memorial Park with the Rev. Anthony Walker officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
