Deacon Wesley Roundtree

With deepest and heartfelt sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Deacon Wesley Roundtree who entered into rest March 27, 2026.

Mr. Roundtree, a native of Barnwell County, was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where he served in Deacons Ministry. He was the Owner of Roundtree Cement Finishers.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Roundtree of the home; sons, Wesley Christopher Roundtree of Montmorenci, SC and Derdrick D. (Latoya) Ryan of Ellenwood, GA; a brother, Leonard Nathaniel Braxton; grandchildren, Christopher Roundtree, Deandre N. (Stephanie) Ryan, Kianna A. Ryan, Kaleigh J. Ryan, Laila D. Ryan, Mekhi D. Ryan,  Mario Murray and Asia Murray; great-grandchildren, Cali Murray, Morgan Murray and Korbyn Murray; Godson, Dwayne "Dreame" Hunter; a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Runs Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
