With deepest and profound sympathy, we announce the transition of Mr. William Garrett who entered into rest November 9, 2024.

Mr. Garrett, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include include a sister, Beatrice G. Berry; a step son, Bettis C. Prescott; step daughters, Jean Prescott and Vicky Prescott; sister-in-law, Lillian Garrett; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Louis T. Coley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 pm until 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
