It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. William Dugar, Sr. who entered into rest July 21, 2022 at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.

Mr. Dugar, a native of Aiken County, was a Retired Barber and Veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Lena Mae Dugar of the home, three sons, William (Michele) Dugar, Jr. of Columbia, SC, Christopher Dugar of Aiken, SC, and Alexander (Torria) Dugar of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Montmorenci Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Wilbert A. Newman, Jr. officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. There will be NO PUBLIC VIEWING.
