It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Willie Curry who entered into rest February 15, 2025.

Mr. Curry was a member of Mims Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Diann Rogers Curry; two daughters, Yvonne (Michael) Grant Gilyard and Cynthia (Ellis) Pugh; a son, Nathan Mims; four brothers, John (Fannie) Curry, George T. Curry, Freddie (Mary Alice) Curry and Roosevelt (Pearline) Curry; three sisters, Alberta (John Willie) Butler, Josephine (Daniel) Carr and Sarah (Willie) Butler; three grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Mims Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Reginald Grimes officiating. Interment will follow in Mims Grove Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2 pm until 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
