It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Willie J. Williams who entered into rest December 8, 2023.

Mr. Williams, a native of Aiken County was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson High School. He earned an Associate degree in Mechanic from Augusta Technical College. He worked for Jack Starrett Trucking. He was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Hannah Williams; two sons, Quentin Williams and Gregory Williams; a daughter, Carelisha Williams; a brother, Charlie Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 15, 2023 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan K. Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2pm to 5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
